Inland Metal incorporates quality into every aspect of a product build with particular focus on Planning, Execution, Validation/Control and Continuous Improvement.
- PLANNING: Includes a thorough review of customer prints; also incorporates customer specs, standards, and expectations. Each traveler is hand crafted by our experienced engineering team and identifies key inspection criteria.
- EXECUTION: Each step of manufacturing is controlled by Inland’s Quality Management System. Inland operators are empowered to make quality their top priority. Quality Engineering monitors quality through sampling, control charts, and statistical analysis.
- VALIDATION/CONTROL: Our trained inspectors validate final quality. First piece inspection, in-process inspection, cosmetic review, and First Articles are a few of the tools Inland uses to validate quality before shipping to the customer.
- CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: All Inland Metal departmental managers meet once monthly to review key quality and performance metrics. A quarterly executive management meeting focuses on execution and review of key quality initiatives and programs.
